The Car & Its History
A rare car in the UK the Ford Cortina Pickup P100. This one is from South Africa and is known locally as a bakkie. The condition is one major difference but also the V6 Essex engine is too, not something that was ever fitted to UK models.
A recent import to the UK with all duties paid and registered on the NOVA database. Will have a full UK MOT too.
Exterior
The condition of the body and paint suggests that the car has not seen active duty as a builder’s truck. Only signs of light use can be seen. The red over white paintwork shining nicely. The wheels are in really nice condition, one of the things that are usually quite worn on those sold in the UK.
The odometer showing only 11,353km could go some way to understand the condition, though Ford never fitted an extra digit so actual mileage is unknown.

Interior
The interior also seems to show little signs of use, certainly not a trader’s vehicle and could make you think that it hasn’t done another 100,000km.
Seats, doors and dash are in great condition. Not too much in the way of extras, not even a radio in there.
Engine & Running Gear
Probably the best bit is the engine, it could certainly surprise some people and is likely to amuse too. The 3 litre Essex V6 providing plenty of power and mated to a 5 speed manual providing reasonable cruising too with the extra gear.
