Hagerty Returns Shelsey Walsh For Classic Group B Rally Icons Hillclimb In May 2023

Specialist insurance company Hagerty are returning to Shelsey Walsh for a two day hillclimb in May 2023 with Group B rally icons.

The event was such a success in 2022 it is returning this year and will now be over two days. Over the weekend of the 27th and 28th of May, a colecion of desirable rally cars will tackle the hillclimb course at Britains oldest Motorsport venue, which has been hosting events since 1905 on the original course.

The main draw of the event are the Group B and Group A rally cars and is going to be one of the best collections ever assembled at an event where they are used in anger vying for the fastest time up the hill.

Members of the Ralli 22 Club are bringing their cars for the event and are covering all the years of what is rallying’s heyday.

You can even be part of the action and drive your own car with a ‘run what you brung’ ticket for £135. This guarantees at least 3 runs up the hill and complementary food and drink.
For non-drivers the event costs £25 to spectate and there is a full day of hill climbing on both days. There’s even a grandstand for an additional £35 which also includes food and drink.

The event opens at 8:30 both days and the first cars run up the hill at 9:00 am. Tickets are limited so book early by visiting the Eventbrite website; www.eventbrite.co.uk.
