The last two days were spent (around working) getting as many odds and ends sorted as possible. One of which was to put up the tent. I hadn’t unwrapped it yet and it’s been a while since I had a go, but I was fairly impressed with the results. It’s reasonably big too, I wonder how it’s going to fit in the pitch….

I might need another go at this… but it doesn’t look too bad inside and I’m amazed I got it back in this bag

All of the bits I didn’t get to fit… oops, so I packed enough to do a water pump swap if needed, I haven’t put in something for the jack to sit on, but if needed I’ll find some hard ground.

Some American journalist wrote at the time of the 9000’s launch that you could get three dead bodies and a set of golf clubs in the boot. Which is probably just as well seeing what I have packed so far…

And lastly, something to listen to on the way. I like the way the glovebox light shines off the Dire Straits cds… (yes it’s the full set of albums, in chronological order…. ) It’s a Saab, what else would we listen to…
