Playmobil Magnum P.I Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole

Playmobil have truly excelled themsemves this time with the release of the Magnum P.I Ferrari 308 GTS Quatrovalvole.

The iconic TV detective who lived in Hawaii, rent free, driving a car that wasn’t even his ran for eight seasons and gained millions of fans worldwide. Though I bet many of them were for the car.

The TV series began with a pilot in 1978 with Thomas Magnum driving an earlier carburettor 308 GTS wearing the famous license plate of Robin – 1. The car beloning to the fictitious fictional writer Robin Masters.

As the seasons progressed, the car was replaced with a 308 GTSi and then lastly with the car you see represented here, the 308 GTS Quattrovalvole. Arguably the best of the three, but any of them are equally desirable. Unless it was one of the stunt cars.

Inside the box you get a complete cast and serveral accessories along with the 308 itself.

The roof comes off, the engine cover opens and the headlights pop up.

It’s not that often that I instantly want something, but this is one of those times and whatever the price is, it’s worth it.

Available from all good toy stores and of course Amazon.

Thanks to Playmobil for the images,

Simon
