Three Rare Lancia Models Head To Auction At The London Classic Car Show
The London Classic Car show is taking place over three days on the 25th to 27th June. Part of that is the Classic Car Auctions are having a sale at the show venue.
Included in the sale are three different rare Lancia models, certainly in the UK, all offered without a reserve!
1976 Lancia Gamma Berlina 2500
This 1976 Lancia Gamma Berline is most likely unique being a virtually new car. unregistered from new and showing only 16 miles on the clock. Supplied new through a Lanci Turin dealer for an English client who was working in Italy at the time.
The dealer who took delivery of the car wasn’t able to track down the prospective buyer and put it at the back of the dealership where it stood for 38 years. The current vendor managed to purchase the car in 2014 and put the car through some recommissioning.
This incredible example comes with a specially customised hardback book which illustrates the 600+ hour recommissioning programme.
The Lancia has now been imported to the UK and has only 79 miles showing. You won’t find another one like it.
1981 Lancia Trevi
The second Lancia in the sale is a 1981 Trevi. One of only two or three in the UK.
A stunning condition right hand drive example has been subjected to a nut and bolt restoration to get it as close to new as possible. The cost to do so was in excess of £32,000.
Finished in Silver metallic with a blue interior the Trevi was only built in small numbers. It has also been a feature in Auto Italia magazine.
1984 Lancia Beta HPE Volumex
The 1984 Lancia Beta HPE Volumex is a rare sight these days. The High Performance Estate, HPE, has been fitted with the supercharged VX engine.
Appearing three years after the Berlina and Coupe, the two door shooting break offered a bit of practicality to the range. This car has a great history file, the handbook pack and two keys and only 42,529 miles showing.
The car has been off the road for a long period but is now ready to be used by the next owner.
Gary Dunne, CCA’s Sales Manager commented “We are honoured to be offering these three amazing opportunities for our debut in London and all offered without reserve! With amazing stories, great provenance, and a rare chance to own a Lancia offered without reserve, I can’t wait to see what these go for.’
