Lamborghini Countach: By Thillainathan Pathmanathan & Anne Christina Reck

The Lamborghini Countach turns 50 years old this year, well the concept did at least.

When Lamborghini launched the Countach at the Genevea Motor show back in 1971 it looked like nothing else and stunned the motoring press and the visiting public. so much so they had to build it and quickly.

This is the first English language book for 30 years that goes into the details behind the iconic supercar with contributions from Valentino Balboni and Tonino Lamborghini.

The design and engineering are explored in depth with the development of the prototype into the subsequent production models with each variant explained.

Ownership is covered too with maintenance and restoration with a great deal of personal input from owners and specialists.

I want this book, as an aspiring Countach owner of course…

Lotus Elite – Colin Chapman’s first GT Car

The Lotus Elite changed the fortunes of the little sports car manufacturer from Norfolk. From the first appearance at the end of the 1950s Lotus successfully transitioned from making small racing cars with limited concessions to road use with a proper road car, that was also a highly successful racer. The pretty glass fibre body covered a Coventry Climax engine and a highly capable chassis.

This book goes into the details behind the introduction of the car and its production and importance in the history of Lotus Cars. There are multiple interviews with owners and details on owning one of these cars. Essential reading for anyone with one or wanting one.

Hardback: 25 cm x 25 cm, 176 pages
