In Further sad news the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este has been postponed until 2021.
With the global nature of the pandemic having affected so many events this year it was almost inevitable that the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este would succumb too. It was announced today that the even would be postponed until 28 – 30 may next year.

The Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, or Competition of Elegance, is the oldest and longest running Concours d’Elegance event. Having taken place every year since 1929, near the Villa d’Este hotel in Cernobbio, Italy. The stunning backdrop of Lake Como suiting the equally stunning cars on display.

For the last ten years BMW Group have organised the event jointly with the Villa d’Este hotel. Around fifty cars built between the 1920s and 1970s are typically available to see. But it is also an opportunity manufacturers use to showcase new models.

The Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este is thought of as one of the most exclusive motoring events in the world. It’s not just the range of machines on display, but quite often the guests themselves are part of the show. Attracting many collectors, enthusiasts and even families from the surrounding areas.

All of us look forward to welcoming you once more to the shores of Lake Como – together with the dazzling selection of automobiles and motorcycles that had already been confirmed in their relevant classes. All the weekend highlights planned for 2020 will carry over to 2021.”
