Ford Model T: Enthusiast's Guide 1908 to 1927 (all models and variants)
The Model T and it’s importance in modern motoring is not to be understated.
Henry Ford said ‘I will build a car for the great multitude’ and he did. The Ford Model T, or ‘Tin Lizzie’ and ‘Flivver’ as it was also known was responsible for transforming American society. Car ownership was suddenly in reach of millions of people. A large country where the only other viable options for many were the horse or the railroad.
Ford built some 16.5 million of the Model T and with his mass production techniques could make up to 8,000 a day.
A nice book by written by Chas Parker and published by Porter Press, who are renowned for high quality.
RRP £30, but less on Amazon. Available to pre order on Amazon.com if you’re in the USA.

Vauxhall Cars of the 1960s and 1970s
This is definitely the book for me, I don’t know nearly enough about Vauxhall. Even though it’s Britains oldest surviving marque.
This new book covers two decades of Vauxhall production, the 1960s and 1970s. Two decades of cars that have been fast disappearing from the UKs roads. I really don’t see that many of them any more.
Written by James Taylor and published by The Crowood Press Ltd. RRP £29.95, again Amazon has it for nearly 1/3 off.
Hardcover 215mm x 280mm, 192 pages. ISBN-10 : 1785008102 ISBN-13 : 978-1785008108

1973 - 1984 All About The WRC Rally By Rally
1973 – 1984 All About The WRC Rally By Rally covers one of the most exciting periods in rallying. Sice the WRC was created with the inception of the FIA the growth in the sports popularity was reaching new highs and new audiences. It wasn’t all plain sailing of course.
During this period we saw great drivers such as Walter Rörhl, Sandro Munari, Stig Blomqvist, Hannu Mikkola, Michèle Mouton. Equally great cars like the Fiat 131 abart, the Lancia Stratos and the introduction of the Audi quattro.
